Upon the directives of the UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum approved, today, the “UAE Strategy for the Future” at the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs and Future, in the presence of Crown Prince of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Deputy Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The “UAE Strategy for the Future” aims at having analyzing an earlier outlook for the opportunities and challenges in all UAE vital sectors and making proactive long-run plans at all levels to accomplish significant achievements to the benefit of the UAE interests.

The strategy includes building future models for health, educational, social, developmental and environmental sectors to cope with the current governmental policies. In addition, it includes building national capacities in the field of future outlook, entering into international partnerships, developing specialized laboratories and launching research reports on the future of different sectors. The announced strategy aims at developing governmental systems making the future outlook a part of the strategic planning process in the governmental entities.
