Abdul Wahab Nasser Al-Najjar was sworn in today as a new UAE ambassador for Cyprus before Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, at Al Mushrif Palace, at Abu Dhabi, at the presence of H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs and H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister. Among those attended the ceremonies were Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Ahmed Juma Al Za'abi, Deputy Minister for Presidential Affairs, Khalifa Saeed Suleiman, Director-General of Protocol Department, Mohammed Juma Al Naboodah and other senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
