The Cabinet praises the initiative of UAE President to take into consideration the humanitarian situation of Emirati-Qatari families
UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, chaired a cabinet meeting held this afternoon at the Presidential Palace in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, the Cabinet praised the initiative of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan to take into consideration the humanitarian situation of Emirati-Qatari families in the light of the latest decisions to sever relations with Qatar. His Highness Sheikh Khalifah gave his directives out of appreciation for the Qatari people.
The Cabinet also welcomed the joint statement issued by the governments of the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Egypt regarding the list of Qatari personalities or entities or the ones supported by Qatar and constitute a threat to the security and peace in the region. The list includes 59 individuals and 12 institutions.
