UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum adopted the UAE National Space Policy as part of the national as part of the national organizational development system of the UAE space sector. The project is the most important factor and the major step in directing and organizing the sector in alignment with the UAE Vision 2021 National Agenda that the UAE will have a stable and diversified economy with flexibility as for adopting the new economic models and fully benefiting from the worldwide economic partnerships to achieve prosperity and bloom for the current and upcoming UAE generations.

The National Space Policy intends to introduce the importance of the space sector as a vital sector in the development and renovation processes. The policy will be transformed into a strategy and national plan comprising of a group of initiatives and national programs.
