Mohammed Receives the Chairman and Members of Emirates Writers Union and Prominent Writers and Intellectuals
UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received the chairman and members of the Emirates Writers Union and prominent Emirati intellectuals this evening at Zabeel Palace. The guests exchanged Ramadan greetings with H.H. Sheikh Mohammed in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, and H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai. During the gathering, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed gave orders to grant the Emirates Writers Union 5 million AED in support of its cultural mission and to boost its activities on the local and international levels. Sheikh Mohammed and the sheikhs and guests in attendance performed the Al-Maghrib prayer in a group, which was followed by an Iftar banquet together.
