UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum visited the Halal World Food Exhibition, organized on the sidelines of the 19th edition of the Gulf Food Exhibition (Gulfood). His Highness toured the various booths and stands of the exhibition. He was briefed on food products labeled as “halal” in many countries. He was accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai. As the Halal Food Expo is the first expo of its kind both in the region and worldwide, and is gaining such popularity; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum decreed that the exhibition be organized on an annual basis. He also ordered its expansion, in regards to space dedicated to the exhibition and the number of participants.
