UAE Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has visited today the headquarters of Abu Dhabi’s renewable energy company, Masdar, in the capital Abu Dhabi. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed began his visit to Masdar City by standing at a giant solid of the city and its facilities. The City will extend over an area of six square kilometers upon the completion of its structure.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, along with Deputy Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, reviewed the components of the promising City that comprises international companies’ head offices, studies and research centers dedicated to research, study and technological development in the sector of renewable energy generated by solar and wind energy and Masdar Institute of Science and Technology. At the end of his visit to the sections, facilities and centers of Masdar City, His Highness visited the permanent headquarters of the International Renewable Energy Agency “IRENA”.
