Mohammed bin Rashid visits FEWA's new 'System Control Center' in UAQ

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum paid an inspection visit to the new “System Control Centre' at the Federal Electricity and Water Authority (FEWA) office in Umm al Qaiwain today. Sheikh Mohammed toured the new 66-million-worth facility based in Umm Al Qaiwain and listened to a presentation about the new electronic gear and state-of-the-art equipment at the three-storey building intended to serve the water and electricity sector in the northern regions. Sheikh Mohammed was also briefed on the Integrated Standards-Based Management System as well as the newly installed SCADA, supervisory control and data acquisition, system replacing the old one and implemented to monitor and control FEWA’s networking system.
