  UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum visited Al Jalila Foundation at the Mohammed Bin Rashid Academic Medical Centre this morning. During his visit, he met the chairman, members of the Board of Trustees, and the board of directors of Al Jalila Foundation as well as the donors. H. H. Sheikh Mohammed launched Al Jalila Medical Research Center, the first independent medical center in the UAE, at a total cost exceeding AED 100 million. The center’s studies focus on five epidemics spreading in the country: diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular diseases, cancer, and mental health.
