Mohammed bin Rashid visits Abu Dhabi International Book Fair
UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum visited the 23rd Abu Dhabi International Book Fair (ADIBF) being held at the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition Centre today. Touring the various sections of the fair in which about 150 publishing houses are participating, Sheikh Mohammed viewed some classic Arabic and foreign books by renowned writers and publishing houses on exhibit. Sheikh Mohammed began his tour with a visit to Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Global Arabian Horse Flat Racing Festival followed by a visit to Saudi Arabia’s Pavilion where he viewed some of the most valuable Islamic books and publications. Sheikh Mohammed went on to visit the pavilion of the Ministry of Culture , Youth and Community Development where he familiarized himself with youth innovations and the ministry’s publications by Emirati authors . At the Abu Dhabi Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority (ADTCA), Sheikh Mohammed viewed cultural and heritage activities. At Emirates Heritage Club’s Pavilion, Sheikh Mohammed viewed national industries, handicrafts and other exhibits before visiting pavilions of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre, Sheikh Zayed Book Award 2013, Ministry of Presidential Affairs and Khalifa Award for Education.
