Mohammed Bin Rashid views “Al Ittihad Bridge” project
Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, together with H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai; viewed the Ittihad Bridge Project yesterday. The project is being implemented by the Dubai Roads and Transportation Authority (RTA) at a total cost of Dh1.1 billion. The new bridge will replace the current Floating Bridge. The Floating Bridge will be shifted to the Sheraton crossing, where it will serve as a link between Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Road in Bur Dubai and Omar ibn Al Khattab Road in Deira. At the opening of the Rashid Hospital Tunnels project site yesterday, Sheikh Mohammed listened to a detailed presentation of the new project, which links Deira to Bur Dubai.
