UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum unveiled the “Expo 2020” official logo, in the presence of Crown Prince of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Deputy Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, in a huge ceremony held, today, in the yard opposite to Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world. The ceremony was attended by thousands of UAE citizens, residents and visitors from all over the world.

The new logo is inspired by an artifact found at the ‘Saroug Al Hadeed’ archeological site discovered by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in 2002 in Al Marmum district. The logo is a compilation of gold patterns and designs invented by the UAE civilization 4000 years ago linking Dilmun, Pharaohs and Mesopotamia civilizations with Transoxiana, Sindh and India civilizations.
