Mohammed bin Rashid UNESCO World Heritage Committee Delegation

On the sideline of his visit to the Dubai Municipality this morning, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, met a delegation from UNESCO's World Heritage Committee (WHC). The delegation- composed of representatives and ambassadors from WHC member countries- is visiting the UAE to become acquainted with Dubai Creek (Khor Dubai), a natural and cultural heritage site registered in the World Heritage list. H.H. welcomed the international delegation in the presence of Crown Prince of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Deputy Ruler of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He expressed his appreciation for their efforts and follow-up in regards to adding Dubai Creek (Khor Dubai) to the World Heritage list. He reflected his confidence in the delegation’s visionary team of competent scientists and experts capable of issuing proper and fair decisions in this regard.
