UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, accompanied by Crown Prince of Dubai H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, toured the International Defence Exhibition and Conference “IDEX 2015”. During his tour, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed was briefed on the latest products of the military industries and advanced defense systems companies showcased by exhibitors from the UAE and 55 nations participating in the 12th edition of IDEX. Sheikh Mohammed commenced his tour, by inspecting the pavilions of national “Tawazun and Mubadal”. Then, His Highness visited the French pavilion and passed by the pavilion of the Slovak Republic. Then, H.H. Sheikh Mohammed stopped at the pavilion of People's Republic of China where he was briefed by the officials on the most important Chinese industries in the domain of land, air and marine defense and the most important Chinese exports in this sector. His Highness, also, visited the pavilion of “Polaris”, the American Company which is specialized in the industry of multi-purpose militarized vehicles. Further, H.H stopped at the pavilion of “Emirates Advanced Research and Technology Holding” (EARTH) and he reviewed their studies and researches done in the field of defense.
