Mohammed bin Rashid, Sultan Al Qasimi receive 'Zayed Order' from Sheikh Khalifa
UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan honored today at Dhiyafa Palace in Al Mushrif the winners of the President Merit Award 2012 in its second edition. He honored UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Sheikh Mohammed received the Zayed Order in the category of the distinguished development initiatives and community service, while the Sheikh Sultan received the Zayed Order in recognition of his role in the field of culture and art. Then Sheikh Mohammed presented to Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed the two original pens used in the signing of the Union as memento gifts.
