Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, sponsored the inauguration ceremony of the Shooting Support Units Festival held today. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed reached the location of the shooting field in Al Haffar Area at Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road. He was accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai. Sheikh Mohammed inspected the honor guard of the Support Forces. The inspection was followed by the national anthem played by the Armed Forces band. From the main stage, Sheikh Mohammed and the attendees watched some of the festival competitions held among shooting teams. The festival aims to physically and emotionally prepare and qualify youth for the national military service, and to instill within them the spirit of challenge and the willingness to uphold such a sacred national duty
