Mohammed bin Rashid reviews the details of 'Deira Souk' and 'Canal' Projects

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum reviewed today the details of “Deira Souk Expansion Project”. The project, which is stretching at four kilometers between Dubai Creek and Al Hamriya port in Dubai and handled by the Investment Corporation of Dubai, will cost about AED 3 billion for the first and second phases. Sheikh Mohammed also ordered the immediate implementation of the new Canal project, extending two kilometers from the Business Bay to Jumeirah coast passing the Sheikh Zayed Road, Al Safa Park and Al Wasl Street at an estimated cost of AED 1.5 billion. Present at the meeting was Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chief Executive of Emirates Group Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
