The UAE government announced the opening of the first store in the world for Smart Government Applications through the Android and IOS platforms. The store, featuring over 100 smart applications developed by UAE federal and local organizations, is a one-stop shop offering around 700 customer services. UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum reviewed the key features of the new store for Smart Government applications. His appraisal covered services it will offer during the coming period, and the steps required for a complete Smart Government transformation in mid-2015, in accordance with the strategic plan announced during the last government summit.
