UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum was briefed on a series of initiatives to stimulate the economic growth in the presence of Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and First Deputy Chairman of the Executive Council His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, along with a number of directors of government departments and entities in Dubai.

A series of initiatives to stimulate the economic growth in 2018 were reviewed. The initiatives were diverse aiming, entirely, to promote efforts to attract foreign direct investment, boost financial and economic efficiency, stimulate investment, promote domestic production, improve business environment to make it more efficient and attractive, develop competitiveness and encourage innovation and efficiency to strengthen Dubai's position in the global arena.
