UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, accompanied by Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of Dubai Executive Council and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, reviewed the milestone achievements of the Translation Challenge, incorporated into the Mohammed bin Rashid Arab E-Learning Project until now. 1500 educational videos out of 5000 videos were translated in a rate of 3 million words out of 11 million words. Over 300 volunteers are working daily to complete the project.

Sheikh Mohammed attended the launch of the phase of the initiative, which includes the compliance of the translated content with the education curriculum. The phase also includes the launch of the surveys to check the produced videos’ quality prior to launching the project next September.

The event took place during Sheikh Mohammed’s visit to the Translation Lab as he got briefed on the work processes starting from choosing the videos, translating and proofreading their content, and eventually dubbing the translated texts of the videos after fully producing them.
