Mohammed bin Rashid receives WFP Executive Director

Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received this afternoon David Beasley, the Executive Director of the United Nations World Food Program (WFP), based in Rome, who chairs the WFP Executive Board annual meeting held currently in Dubai after being selected as the best destination to hold this meeting outside the WFP headquarters for the first time.
His Highness applauded the role of the WFP in providing humanitarian and food assistance for over 90 million people in 70 countries.
