  H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, received Bashar Al Assad, the President of Syria, at Zabeel Palace today.   Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the Syrian President and underlined that such visits contribute to cementing bilateral relation between both countries in all fields and serving joint interests. They emphasized on their commitment to enhance bilateral relations, particularly in economic and investment fields.   Sheikh Mohammed hosted a luncheon in honour of Al Assad and the delegation accompanying him. The meeting was attended by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler, Sheikh Hasher bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation and President of Emirates airline, Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Event Management Corporation, His Highness Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Culture and Arts Authority Chairman and other Sheikhs, Ministers and Senior Officials.
