His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai received chairmen of the regional and international dermatological associations partaking in Dubai Derma Conference. The meeting between Sheikh Mohammed and the dermatologists took place this afternoon, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai. The conference is being held alongside the Dubai World Dermatology and Laser Exhibition at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC). The dermatologists briefed HH Sheikh Mohammed about the procedures for organizing and hosting the World Congress of Dermatology, held every five years in a cosmopolitan city. HH Sheikh Mohammed called on the concerned bodies in the UAE to work as one team and mobilize efforts to earn international support for the bid to host this global competition in Dubai in 2020. He emphasized Dubai’s interest in hosting the event and his hope that the friendly and fraternal support provided by the country would lead to winning the hosting bid. At the end of the meeting, HH Sheikh Mohammed expressed his confidence in Dubai winning the support of the vast majority of the regional and international organizations to host the World Congress of Dermatology in 2020.
