UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum received the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and the accompanying delegation at Zabeel Palace this evening. The visiting minister conveyed the greetings of the President of the People’s Republic of China to Sheikh Mohammed and an official invitation for His Highness to visit Beijing. Sheikh Mohammed accepted the invitation and thanked his guest for the gesture. His Highness and the Chinese Foreign Minister reviewed a number of regional issues and the current changes occurring in the region. They also discussed ways to strenghten the historic friendship and cooperation relations between the leaderships and peoples of the two friendly nations. Sheikh Mohammed welcomed the UAE guest, expressing his confidence that the exchange of visits between the officials of both countries, especially at such high level, would strengthen bilateral relations at various levels and contribute to the materialization of the two leaderships’ aspirations, of and their keenness for these relations to reach higher and more comprehensive levels, with the aim of realizing the interests of the two friendly nations.
