Mohammed bin Rashid participates in Syrian endurance race
H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai added a new achievement at the beginning of the international season of endurance races. Sheikh Mohammed participated along with his two sons Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Sheikh Majid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Culture and Arts Authority Chairman in the 120km endurance race in Damascus, Syria. Sheikh Mohammed and his son Sheikh Hamdan maintained the lead from the start and were able to win the Championship. UAE riders won third, fourth and fifth positions. More than 170 riders from the UAE and Syria participated in the race, which was organized by Dubai Equestrian Club in cooperation and coordination with Arab Syrian Equestrian Federation. At the end of the race, Sheikh Mohammed ordered distribution of the cash prizes to the Syrian riders, also he ordered distribution of prices to all Syrian participants as encouragement to continue training and becomes professional horse riders.
