Mohammed bin Rashid oversees second day at the Government Summit

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, asserted that strengthening the international development journey and accelerating its pace to cross to the future with steady steps requires the participation of the world’s governments in instilling the culture of innovation and cooperation to face the challenges and guarantee a better future for all humanity.
This took place while His Highness honoured the team of Public Health Agency of Canada which won the Edge of Government Award for the Carrot Rewards experience, an initiative which encourages the community to practice sports, and that is during the award ceremony of the 7th World Government Summit.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, received Epsy Campbell Barr, the First Vice President of Costa Rica, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.
During the meeting, which was held on the sidelines of the World Government Summit, WGS, in Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed explored with Barr the important topics for discussion among the participants from 140 countries at the summit, which focus mostly on the human being and the means to provide him with modern and decent life in any part of the world.
Furthermore, Sheikh Mohammed and Barr witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding, MoU, between the UAE and Costa Rica through which the UAE will lend its expertise to Costa Rica to develop government work and performance.
