Mohammed bin Rashid opens Global Manufacturing and Industrialization Summit in Abu Dhabi
UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended the inaugural edition of the Global Manufacturing and Industrialization Summit (GMIS) held in Paris-Sorbonne Abu Dhabi University, UAE.
The opening ceremony was also attended by Crown Prince of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum along with a number of dignitaries, ministers, senior officials and approximately 500 invitees including decision makers in the industrial sector from the UAE and a number of Arab and foreign countries.
On the sidelines of the summit, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum along with His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum attended the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between Dubai Future Foundation, Mubadala Development Company and General Electric global company under which two small plants are built in the UAE, the first of their kind in the region.
