Under the Patronage of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum opened the First Ordinary Session of 16th Legislative Chapter of the Federal National Council (FNC) at FNC headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

Present at the inauguration ceremony were Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla and Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi.

Also present at the ceremony, were Crown Prince of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers of the Emirates.
