On behalf of UAE President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum opened the 4th ordinary session of the 15th Legislative Term of the Federal National Council (FNC) which was held at the FNC Headquarters today. The opening ceremony started with the arrival of Sheikh Mohammed at the FNC Headquarters. His Highness inspected the guard of honor and the UAE national anthem was played, following which, he exchanged greetings with the members of the FNC Executive Office. Then, after having a short break at the Great Presence Hall, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum proceeded to Zayed Hall, accompanied by Their Highnesses, Crown Princes, Deputy Rulers and Sheikhs, for the meeting. His Highness opened the 4th ordinary session of the 15th Legislative Chapter by delivering a keynote speech. In his speech, he greeted the Speaker and the members of the Council and he affirmed the essential role of the Council in serving the Nation and the citizens and in forming bridges of cooperation between the Council and the Government for the interest of the Nation and the citizens.
