Mohammed bin Rashid opens 3rd Global Entrepreneurship Summit and Exhibition

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum opened the 3rd annual Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES)-Entrepreneurial Ventures of Arabia (GES-EVA) today at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The inaugural session, attended by more than 2000 experts and decision-makers in the field of entrepreneurship in addition to small and medium enterprises around the world, saw the presence of Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, sheikhs, ministers as well as economic, academic and press personalities. Then, Sheikh Mohammed attended the signing of a number of agreements and opened a parallel exhibition, a business platform for SMEs, suppliers to SMEs, SME funds, government agencies like Khalifa Fund, Mohammed bin Rashid Foundation and Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Later, Sheikh Mohammed and the guests reviewed the designs and maps of “Mohammed bin Rashid City”. He also ordered the allocation of the plot opposite to Burj Khalifa on the Business Bay for Arab entrepreneurs.
