Mohammed bin Rashid, Mohamed bin Zayed hold wide-ranging discussions with the Pope
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, have discussed with His Holiness Pope Francis the friendly relations between the UAE and the Vatican as well a number of topics of mutual interest.
The leaders also examined ways to further extend cooperation so as to promote tolerance, dialogue and coexistence across the world.
At the start of the meeting, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed Pope Francis, and conveyed to him the greetings and best wishes of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
