UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum met with the Chief Justice of Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Courts Michael Hwang at the DIFC headquarters. The meeting was attended by the Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and the Deputy Ruler of Dubai and DIFC Chairman Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. During the meeting, DIFC Courts Chief Justice Hwang briefed Sheikh Mohammed on the main achievements of the DIFC Courts, as outlined in the DIFC Courts Annual Review 2013. He also presented the report to Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, the Chairman of DIFC. In his briefing, Justice Hwang mentioned the main highlights of the report, most notably agreements that the DIFC had signed with a number of international business centers. These agreements helped enhance the courts' reputable position and presence on the international level.
