UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum met with an assembly of sheikhs, ministers, heads of governmental entities as well as senior officials at Zabeel Palace this afternoon. They congratulated His Highness on the UAE’s advancement in the global competitiveness index, vaulting from the 19th to 12th position within just one year, according to the Global Competitiveness Report (GCR) issued by the World Economic Forum (Davos) in 2014-2015.The meeting occurred in the presence of Crown Prince of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Deputy Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. During the weekly meeting, which was followed by a luncheon banquet, Sheikh Mohammed expressed his pride in the advanced rankings secured by the UAE in many domains on the regional and international levels.
