Mohammed bin Rashid meets Chairman and Members of the Arabic Language Committee

Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received the chairman and members of the Arabic Language Education Development Committee today at the Executive Office in Emirates Towers, Dubai. The committee, set up as part of the Arabic Language Charter launched by Sheikh Mohammed earlier this year, is tasked with the development of Arabic language curricula and teaching methods to promote Arabic as the language of science and technology.   In presence of Dubai Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Dubai Deputy Ruler Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Sheikh Mohammed exchanged views with Chairman of the committee Dr Farouq Al Baz on developing teaching methods of the Arabic language in public and private universities, colleges and schools. The meeting was attended by Minister of Youth, Culture and Community Development Abdul Rahman Mohammed Nassir Al Owais, Dubai Director of Protocol and Hospitality Khalifa Saeed Suleiman and a number of officials.
