Mohammed bin Rashid launches the UAE 7-Year National Agenda
UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum launched the UAE National Agenda today, in a remarkable event that took place in Abu Dhabi in the presence of senior officials from federal and local governments and media representatives. With over 300 officials from 90 federal and local governments entities involved in its preparation, the UAE National Agenda will lead the nation over the next seven years towards the realization of the UAE Vision 2021; a year which coincides with the 50th Golden Anniversary of the founding of the federation. The Agenda stipulates the objectives and projects in the education, healthcare, economy, and police sectors. His Highness explained that the next seven years are crucial for the United Arab Emirates, as the country is trying to achieve its national objectives in a world that witnesses major changes in all aspects. He further asserted that these upcoming seven years shall be characterized by hard work, rapid development, massive projects, and great initiatives, objectives, and challenges. “If our performance as a UAE team over the past years was 100%, then we need 200% during the upcoming seven years,” declared Sheikh Mohammed. The major highlights and prospects of the upcoming period were demonstrated during the launch ceremony, most particularly in relation to the services provided to the citizens.
