Mohammed bin Rashid launches the largest global initiative for endowment
UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has launched the largest global initiative for endowment, announced the establishment of a district to be dedicated for endowment projects and donations and announced the establishment of Mohammed bin Rashid Global Centre for Endowment Consultancy (MBRGCEC) aiming at providing free of charge consultation on Awqaf and endowments for all merchants. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed also provided a AED5 billion endowment for knowledge, science, future research and supporting reading and contents.
Present at the launch ceremony were Crown Prince of Dubai His Highness Hamdan bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and a host of Arab and foreign business people, and officials of humanitarian organizations.
