Mohammed bin Rashid launches the largest Development and Community Foundation in the Region
Today morning, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, launched the largest development, community and humanitarian foundation in the region, in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and the Chairman of the Executive Council. The Foundation consolidates 28 organizations and entities focusing on fighting poverty and illness; spreading knowledge and culture; empowering the community and driving innovation. The Foundation’s initiatives will implement over 1,400 human development programs in more than 116 countries around the world. The new Foundation which is called ‘Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives’ targets over 130 million people over the upcoming years.
