UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum launched today The Future Museum project which houses laboratories for innovation in the fields of health, education, smart cities, energy, transport, and a constant museum for future inventions as well. The Future Museum has the best environment in the world for innovation. When completed in 2017, it will be the largest platform to test ideas and develop technical solutions of challenges in the areas of education, health, smart cities, transport, and energy. During the launch of the project, His Highness declared, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai: "The Future Museum represents one of our major cognitive ambitions in the UAE, one of our most important dreams to UAE nationals, and one of the most important key pillars for the future of the UAE." Additionally, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid instructed to allocate Wakf to The Future Museum project, ensuring continuity for future generations. His Highness also ordered to form the Board of Trustees chaired by Dubai Crown Prince His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and the membership of the high national figures to oversee the museum, developing and implementing a long-term strategy for the museum to ensure the achievement of its objectives to be the best attractor for innovations in the Arab World.
