Mohammed bin Rashid Launches “Sarouq Al Hadeed” Museum at Shindagha in Bur Dubai

UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in the presence of Crown Prince of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum launched this evening Sarouq Al Hadeed Museum at Shindagha Area, Bur Dubai. The Museum contains thousands of gold, bronze and iron pieces discovered at the archaeological site of Sarouq Al Hadeed at the Empty Quarter Desert south of Dubai as well as animal, fish and pottery remains.
His Highness watches several discoveries of Sarouq Al Hadeed where excavation is controlled by Dubai Municipality that opined for the preservation of said discoveries that a museum shall be opened for the same at the House of Sheikh Jumaa bin Maktoum Al Maktoum at Al Shindagha Area to be a landmark for the culture and history of the UAE people. The ceremony was attended by a number of senior officials and intellectuals.
