Mohammed bin Rashid inspects venue of Dubai Tour race

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum inspected the venue of the Dubai Tour cycling race, which kicked off today and will last for four days. Starting from Dubai International Marine Club in Jumeirah, the 663 Km international professional cycling race takes place over four stages, the first of which is a 145 Km ride and has ended this afternoon. H.H Sheikh Mohammed, accompanied by Director-General of Dubai Protocol and Hospitality Department Khalifa Saeed Sulaiman, followed the last kilometers of the first stage which was has ended in Jumeirah 1 near Sheikh Rashid Grand Mosque, one of the city’s most prominent landmarks and a major tourist attraction all year round. H.H Sheikh Mohammed greeted the cyclists who came to the UAE from all over the world to participate in this world-class sports event, which is organized by Dubai Sports Council (DSC) from February 4-7, under the patronage of Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of DSC H.H Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Sheikh Mohammed wished success to participants from the UAE and other countries in their quest and service for international peace.
