Mohammed bin Rashid inspects New Year’s Operations Room at the Burj Khalifa area

Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, accompanied by the Crown prince of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, inspected the Dubai Police Operations Room, set up to secure the New Year celebrations at the Burj Khalifa area and Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard in Downtown Dubai. No incidents, security breaches or injuries reported during the New Year gala, although more than half a million people of different nationalities gathered in the area of no more than 1.7 sq km to participate in the celebrations.
