UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum paid an inspection visit to Al Manara Civil Defense Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai today. The AED45-million center is equipped with the latest in electronic systems and adopts best-in-class international standards and practices in fire-fighting and rescue operations.   Sheikh Mohammed, accompanied by Dubai Crown Prince HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan and a number of officials listened to a detailed presentation on UAE's civil defence strategy.
