Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has inaugurated the second and final phase of the Dubai Water Canal, a 12 kilometer waterway that connects Dubai Creek with the Arabian Gulf. The Dubai Water Canal project has been built at a cost of AED 3.7 billion. The launch ceremony was attended by Crown Prince of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Deputy Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
