His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, inaugurated GITEX Technology Week at Dubai’s World Trade Centre today. Sheikh Mohamed stressed that Dubai is undergoing its transformation into an entirely smart city. He expressed confidence that the United Arab Emirate’s transformation into a smart state will be realized in the near future so as to provide the best facilitations to the UAE’s citizens and those who live on the land of “our beloved country.”
