UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum inaugurated the Mohammed Bin Rashid Academic Medical Center (AMC) at Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) today in the presence of Dubai Deputy Ruler Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Sheikh Mohammed unveiled a plaque commemorating the opening of the center, which is viewed as a major scientific milestone for Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) as it provides and encourages the launch of educational and medical healthcare programs according to the highest international quality standards. At the second floor of the center, Sheikh Mohammed inspected the Premature Infants Intensive Care Unit where he was briefed on the modern medical devices available at the unit. Then, Sheikh Mohammed inspected the library housing his books and publications which are made available to the public. Sheikh Mohammed continued his tour of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Academic Medical Center to meet with a number of trainees from the UAE and some Arab countries before he listened to a part of a lecture delivered by a specialist on the devices used for the training process.
