Mohammed bin Rashid inaugurates first electronic container terminal in Jebel Ali

UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum inaugurated the first remotely-operated Container Terminal at the flagship port of Jebel Ali this evening. With a total cost of USD 850 million and a capacity of four million TEU, the overall capacity of the Jebel Ali three container terminals combined is increased to 19 million TEU in 2014. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Deputy Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
