UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum honoured the American teacher Nancie Atwell, winner of the Global Teacher Prize of the Varkey Foundation Global Teacher Prize in the presence of Dubai Deputy Ruler Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. This came during the ceremony held this evening at the Atlantis Hotel, Palm Jumeirah in Dubai on the sidelines of the third session of the Global Education and Skills Forum (GESF), which is organized by Varkey Foundation this year under the slogan "Honoring the Best Teacher in the World". The ceremony was attended by former US president Bill Clinton, President of Bill Clinton Foundation.
