UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, honoured the Canadian teacher Maggie MacDonnell, the winner of the $1m. Global Teacher Prize which is organised annually by Varkey Foundation in Dubai to the best teacher in the world, as an encouragement from the Foundation headed by businessman "Sunny Varkey"to education and its staff and to provide the highest standards for education, its outputs and techniques in international schools, especially in Third World countries.
