UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum honored winners of the 17th edition of the Dubai Government Excellence Programme (DGEP) Awards. He was accompanied by the Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Deputy Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The ceremony held this morning at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) kicked off with a rendition of the National Anthem, and saw the attendance of the Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation and Chief Executive of Emirates Group Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Sheikh Saeed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, along with a host of senior officials, directors, and employees of government departments and institutions in Dubai. Following a documentary about Dubai Government’s achievements between the 16th and 17th editions of DGEP Awards, Sheikh Mohammed, accompanied by the Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, mounted the stage to honor the winners of the different categories of the Dubai Government Excellence Programme.
