Mohammed bin Rashid honors the founders of Dubai Quality Program and winners of the 20th edition awards

UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum honored the founders and coordinators of Dubai Quality Program, the honoring ceremony marks the award’s 20th anniversary. The program was set to motivate Dubai’s private sector and promote innovation, creativity, excellence and quality. In presence of Crown Prince of Dubai Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Deputy Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Sheikh Mohammed honored Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and First Coordinator of Dubai Quality Program upon establishment in 1994; Mohamed Ali Alabbar, Chairman of the Board of Emaar Property whose son Rashid received the award and Essa Kazim, Governor of Dubai International Financial Centre, the second coordinator of Dubai Quality Program. During the ceremony that was held this afternoon at Madinat Jumeirah, twenty winners received Dubai Human Development Award and twelve winners were awarded the Dubai Service Excellence Scheme, in presence of a number of senior officials and economic bodies in the UAE, as well as a large number of employees and representatives of the honored companies and organizations.
